In this trompe-l’œil, I bring together a universe of visual motifs that I have carefully sculpted in earlier lace creations, now reimagined in a new dialogue. At the heart of the composition, a pheasant rises, captured in the very instant before flight, emerging from a lush setting of leaves, flowers, and branches. Around this central scene, delicate patterns unfold in perfect harmony where fullness and emptiness, light and shadow, transparency and depth weave a subtle play of balance.
This piece is the fruit of an extraordinary journey of patience and passion, requiring nearly 850 hours of meticulous work. Every detail is an invitation to step closer, to let the eye wander, and to discover the poetry hidden within the lace.

- The carving is to manipulate with great caution. The wood is not flexible and can fractured if bent.
- Use a light brush to dust off the sculpture if necessary.
